Through collaborative efforts by a variety of owners and organizations, there is no shortage of amazing seasonal bazaars, online marketplaces, and pop-up shops featuring unique local goods and services. This event by Travel Portland and Prosper Portland began in 2017 in order to connect and support business owners of color. The market features 30 local vendors, dining options, and music. Begun in 2020, Slabtown Makers Market aims to help people shop local and \u201cspend with intention.\u201d It brings together more than 70 local artisans who donate 5-10% of their sales to local non-profits. Cooperativa is a woman-owned venture that features an Italian market, food hall, and bar in NW Portland. The market offers a variety of curated food items and florals from local vendors. Gigantic Brewing Company\u2019s unique warehouse space will be transformed into a cozy holiday market featuring a dozen local vendors, plus plenty of craft beer. (Event is 21+ only.) Every year the Portland Saturday Market is a favorite spot amongst locals and visitors. Open through December 18th<\/sup>, it features arts, crafts, and foods from nearly 200 local vendors. Non-profit organization MESO supports underserved individuals through empowerment, education, and entrepreneurship. Their seasonal market highlights a variety of local vendors including MESO clients. The annual Portland Bazaar began in 2011 with a mission to highlight local artists and makers. This year it features more than 150 vendors, plus custom gift wrapping and raffle prizes. Vancouver\u2019s Night Market at the Vancouver Innovation Center (VIC) features local brands and products from more than 80 makers as well live music, food, and drinks. <\/p>\n Don\u2019t miss the opportunity to shop some of Portland\u2019s favorite retailers in person.<\/p>\n Founded in 2018 by Quechua, Andean\/Incan owner Lluvia Merello, Indigenous Come Up partners with and celebrates other local Indigenous creators and makers. Greg & Nate combined their design and wedding experience to start Grate Company in 2015. Their pop-up shop features wreaths, bouquets, candles, and more. Clothing creator Rosalee Rester\u2019s had a vision of starting a zero-waste business by reusing, recycling, and refurbishing clothing. Her pop-up offers unique apparel and other goods. R&Arie founder Reeba Daniel\u2019s passion for natural skincare products stems from her own skin issues. Her small batch goods contain minimal ingredients and support Black, Indigenous, and people of color. According to founder Maarlie Wada, socks are \u201ca way of life\u201d in Japan. After she moved to Portland, she opened her own unique sock shop in 2006 to encourage others to express themselves. Offering limited-edition product drops as well as weekend programs and events, The Pickle Jar\u2019s mission is to support Downtown Portland and the community. The Downtown pop-up shop showcases unique, handmade ceramic works from more than 40 members of the Oregon Potters Association. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Shop online this holiday season and support local retailers from the comfort of your home.<\/p>\n City Shoppe was founded by former start-up executives, small business owners, eCommerce experts, and brand innovators to bring an immersive local \u201cvibe\u201d to online shopping.<\/p>\n This non-profit marketplace is a collective of mentors who support companies across the state. The group shifted from a planned retail location to an online store that features hundreds of Oregon vendors.<\/p>\n Makers Union PDX was created in 2020 to help Portland-area artists, makers, and creatives who rely on in-person sales and traffic. The online marketplace provides a space for local retailers to sell their goods.<\/p>\n This online marketplace features brands across the Pacific Northwest including apparel, footwear, handmade crafts, artwork, home goods, and more.
